HTC Flyer is now available for 234.99 GBP, which translates into about $372. Sure it used to be available for less (199 GBP), but that was at a short period after Christmas when all prices go south.

Now if you want a nicely designed 7-inch tablet, the Flyer is a decent option. However, I would suggest getting something else instead. For instance, take a look at the Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus or Huawei MediaPad, which even looks like the Flyer.

Although HTC’s tablet now runs Android Honeycomb, we’re not sure it will ever get the Ice Cream Sandwich update. There may be unofficial ways to make it run Android 4.0, but that’s not the point. The problem is that the Flyer has a single-core processor and I’m not sure it will be able to cope with some advanced tasks Ice Cream Sandwich brings to the table.

Then again, if you won’t need that, hop over to this page and grab the HTC Flyer while supplies last. Just don’t say I haven’t warned you. 😉
