Rebtel surpasses 15 million VoIP users, 500 million calls

Rebtel, which calls itself the world’s largest mobile VoIP company after Skype, reached an important milestone and now counts some 15 million users. To celebrate the achievement, they’ve prepared a cool infographic to illustrate their growth. Here are the highlights:

  • Rebtel has been growing at a rate of 500K users per month
  • 500 million calls connected over time
  • 2 billion minutes of international calls logged
  • ARPU 3x that of Skype
  • Revenue increase by 55% in 2011
  • $85 million revenue projected for 2012
  • 70% of customers are word-of-mouth, with 96% saying they would recommend to a friend
