We’ve already told you Evernote was one of the first apps to get an update for the new iPad’s Retina display. What we haven’t told you is that their other two iPad apps, Evernote Peek and Skitch, also got the same treatment to make everything look sharper, crisper and more vibrant.
The Evernote app got the biggest update with Retina display support being just one of the new things. For instance, version 4.1.9 also brings better checkbox support, resulting in checkboxes working more like lists – they now support indentation, and new lines created after a checkbox will automatically insert a new box. Moreover, text editing has been improved so that note editor is now much more responsive and reliable than in the past.
Then there are enhancements in the suggested note titles. As you type your own title, a matching list of previously used titles will appear, which is neat if you’re reusing same titles.
Finally, some of the bugs have been squashed, like sync errors, to make Evernote an even more reliable app…
