Many cuisine masters have already embraced dish sharing apps that allow them to share their delicious meals with other foodies all around the world. DishPal, which up until this point was an iPhone thing only, is finally optimized for the big screen of the iPad.
The basic app functionality remains the same – you can share images of what they are eating, drinking, cooking or baking; as well as access other people’s photos. Moreover, there’s an option to join themed group potluck parties and mingle with like-minded eaters, or create personalized DishPal magazines to promote individual tastes and cooking skills. Finally, you can share your images beyond the DishPal community and show your tasty works of art on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
As for what’s specific on the iPad app, it naturally takes advantage of the tablet’s bigger screen, enabling users to browse through images and view the live stream alongside selected images in neighboring columns. Nice! 😉
