We have (almost) good news for Orange Samsung Galaxy S II customers in the UK. You will get your serving of Ice Cream Sandwich, but you’ll have to wait for April (and we don’t know when exactly in April you’ll get it). Yeah, you’re probably sorry you’re not on Three which customers are already running the latest version of Android, while you have to hack your way to ICS (if you can’t wait). Then again, Vodafone customers are in the same group with the Big Red carrier pushing some sort of preparatory update while still testing the ICS firmware.
To be fair, we don’t exactly associate Orange with fast firmware updates so I guess there are no surprises here. In any case, it’s good to see that sooner or later all “flavors” of SGS2 will get their updates…
