Not everyone craves for a smartphone. Or at least not everyone wants to pay a premium for all the benefits smartphones bring. Rather some folks are equally satisfied with a QWERTY keyboard equipped feature phone that will allow them to keep up with their buddies without committing to expensive monthly plans. For those folks, AT&T launched new messaging phone, LG Xpression C395, which is available for 50 bucks ($49.99) with a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate; or for $219.99 sans any contracts signed.
Specs wise, aside from the side-sliding keyboard, LG’s baby also packs a 3-inch WQVGA (240×400 pixels) screen, 3G data, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. In addition, it also comes preloaded with AT&T Social Net, providing quick access to popular social networking services.
In a nutshell, if you can afford a smartphone – grab one. On the other hand, if all you need is QWERTY keyboard, check out the LG Xpression C395. Here’s a page with additional information.
