Asus Eee Pad Slider is getting the Android 4.0 updated in the U.S. as we speak. The Taiwanese company turned to Twitter to spread the good news and as far as we know, those of you owning this particular tablet should get the new software (version 9.2.1.21) during the next couple of days. This sort of updates are usually rolled out in stages so even if you don’t see it yet, don’t worry – it’s heading your way.
Of course, if you own the Asus Slider, you should know you’re in minority and I guess that’s why you had to wait longer than users with Transformer tablet, which proved much more popular than its sliding sibling. The problem folks had with the Eee Pad Slider is its weight, justified with the built-in keyboard, which although handy makes the device too bulky to carry around on a daily basis…
Anyway, make sure your Slider is connected to a fast hotspot, search for updates and take it from there.
