Sprint launching the Evo 4G LTE on May 18 in several markets

Sprint's HTC EVO 4G LTE launching on May 18th?

Sprint sent out a flurry of press releases on Monday announcing the May 18th launch of the Evo 4G LTE in select markets across the US. Stores listed in the press releases include those in Texas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Washington state, Colorado, Washington, D.C., New York, California and Miami, Florida. When it launches, the Evo 4G LTE will cost $199 and will debut when stores open at 8AM local time.

The Evo 4G LTE is a high-end Android smartphone with a 1.5-ghz dual-core processor, a 4.7-inch HD display, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, NFC, and LTE connectivity. The Evo 4G LTE is a multimedia-oriented phone with Beats audio and a kickstand. The phone is powered by Android 4.0 and HTC Sense 4.
