Looks like Samsung is preparing to release a new Windows Phone in China. The new device, marked as SCH-S759, has been caught while getting necessary Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications, with some blogs (Blog of Mobile) speculating it’s destined to join China Telecom’s portfolio.
Of course, until we get the official press release from either China Telecom or Samsung, that’s just a rumor. Then again, we do know both Samsung and Microsoft want a piece of the ever growing Chinese mobile market and in that sense we wouldn’t be surprised to see a version of the Samsung Focus, Focus 2 or Omnia M hit the world’s most populous nation.
Aside from boasting Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios, we don’t know anything else about the Samsung SCH-S759. We guess it also supports 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, has some camera on the back, touchscreen, GPS and so on. We will keep our eyes wide open and let you know as soon as we hear something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
