We’ve been already reporting on Samsung’s Galaxy S and Galaxy S II sales figures in the past. Today we’ve found out that the Korean company managed to move a total of 50 million Galaxy S and Galaxy S II units. The original Galaxy S, launched in June 2010, accounts for more than 24 million devices, while its successor surpassed 28 million units in just 13 months. This in turn made the Galaxy S II the single fastest selling device for the Korean company.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note hit a milestone of its own, having reached 7 million units sold.
Way to go Sammy, we’re sure the Galaxy S III will be an equally successful product, though I must add that I don’t like the fact that some versions ship with 1 and some others with 2 GB of RAM. For such a high-end smartphone, 2GB should come as standard — not that we need it at the moment, but you never know what kind of apps are in the pipeline for 2013…
