Cricket Communications announced that its portfolio of devices is now available in more than 1,200 Kmart stores nationwide, giving the carrier an expanded reach it needs to compete with the big guys.
Of course, Cricket’s popular music service/plan Muve Music is also included in the deal, providing users with unlimited cellular service (calling, texting & data), and unlimited music downloads for just $55 per month.
Four handsets will be available at launch in Kmart, including the Samsung Vitality ($199.99) and ZTE Score ($129.99) smartphones, as well as Huawei Pillar ($69.99) and Samsung Chrono ($39.99) feature phones. The two mentioned feature phones can be used with a Cricket PAYGo service plan which includes unlimited text, picture and video messaging and unlimited mobile web along with 300 voice minutes for $25 per month…
