Something seems wrong with Samsung’s supply chain when users have to wait that much to get the Galaxy Tab 2. Previously, Future Shop said it will start selling the 10.1-inch tablet on June 22nd and now the date is postponed to July 6th.
Samsung’s tablets are pretty cool but saying they are in high demand is a blatant lie. Most folks still want the Apple iPad, though Amazon managed to get some traction with the Kindle Fire at the time of launch — nowadays, their tablet has cooled with consumers according to Yankee Group.
So, I don’t get it. Samsung (and other tablet makers for that matter) should have their devices in stores at the time of announcement, readily accepting consumers’ hard-earned cash. Perhaps the Korean giant is preparing for the Galaxy Note 10.1 launch and doesn’t care about the previous models? Who knows…
If you still want the Galaxy Tab 2 visit this page at Future Shop’s website from where you can pre-order your unit for $349.99, which is pretty good price for a device as capable as Sammy’s tablet…
