LG Optimus Vu coming to Verizon?

Samsung’s Galaxy Note may soon get a competitor in the U.S. phablet market with a device that looks pretty similar (same) to the LG Optimus Vu clearing the FCC hurdle on its way to Verizon Wireless. Of course we could be wrong, but judging from the diagram above, it seems we’re right on target. To be fair, the FCC filling doesn’t confirm a thing, but if we look at the antenna and speaker positions, they sit in the very same place as in the Korean Optimus Vu.

The phone model VS950 will come with NFC capability and LTE connectivity support. The release date is unknown and at the moment all you can do is go through FCC’s documents and see if you find something of interest there. We checked it out and couldn’t figure that much because of LG’s “Confidentiality Request.” Bastards… or savvy businessmen… it’s getting hard to distinct these days. 😉
