Canada’s Koodo Mobile is about to get its first Windows Phone device – Nokia Lumia 610. The carrier turned to Facebook to spread the good news saying:
FACEBOOK EXCLUSIVE: We’re launching the Nokia Lumia 610 this Friday! It’s sleek, it’s fast and it offers one touch access to all of your social networks.
We do agree the phone is sleek, but is it fast? Sure enough, out of box experience is rock-solid, but after some time that 256MB of RAM can slow things down. Of course, you shouldn’t expect much more from a device which will sell for $175 sans any long-term commitments (or so we hear). In that sense, we’re talking about a cheap ticket to the Windows Phone world.
Finally, it’s worth adding that aside from Koodo, TELUS will also soon launch the Nokia Lumia 610… So are you’re interested to get it? Or you want (can afford) something better, like the Lumia 900? Or perhaps Windows Phone isn’t your cup of tea?
