After the iPhone version and the one optimized for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Vivid Games is bringing the Bitmap Brothers’ hit-game Speedball 2 Evolution to rest of the Android community. Actually, those of you with old Android smartphones won’t be able to run the game properly, but if you bought your phone in the last two years (and if it has like an 800MHz processor), you’re pretty much good to go — though we’re not sure about hardware requirements.
Expect the familiar experience of a futuristic mixture of football and hockey played at “break neck speed.” You can choose from 336 unique players and 28 teams across 4 planets. Moreover, there are more than 20 power-ups available, multiple game modes (including 10 Season Career Mode and 10 Single Player Game Modes), full player transfer market and upgrades, and choice of intuitive tilt and virtual joystick controls. Multiplayer action, which makes the game that more interesting, is also there and it works both over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Yeah you want to buy it. 😉
