Ape Entertainment keeps working on its mission of turning popular games into comics. After Pocket God and Cut the Rope, they’re turning to additional two titles – Fruit Ninja and Temple Run. The comics will first be released in the digital form as a mobile app (starting with the iPhone), though they may get a paperback version if a critical mass of people demand something of that sort.
As far as we know, both Fruit Ninja and Temple Run comics will explore the “untold backstories” providing some context to the games.
Now I don’t know about you, but this doesn’t sound that interesting to me, though I’m sure Ape Entertainment knows what it’s doing since this won’t be their first such gig. Quite the contrary, they probably gotta have the numbers to back their plans. We’ll see whether Fruit Ninja and Temple Run have as dedicated followings as Cut the Rope and Pocket God…
