TELUS keeps expanding the coverage area of its LTE network in order to hit the goal of reaching 25 million Canadians by the end of 2012. The latest markets to get the 4G speeds include Barrie, Bolton, Orangeville, St. Thomas, Kingston and Muskoka, while Montreal and Calgary got some improvements, as well. The new markets join the existing site network that includes the following cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, Ottawa, Québec City, Halifax and Yellowknife.

TELUS’ LTE network, in case you wonder, reaches average speeds of 12-25 Mbps with higher speeds (obviously) achieved by those located in the vicinity of a cell tower (though some other factors like network congestion also count). And uou can see the Telus’ coverage map from here.
