We’ve already told you that Samsung is considering dumping Kobo’s ebook reading service and replacing it with its own. Well that’s now happening with Readers Hub 2.0 hitting Samsungs Apps from where Galaxy S III owners can download the app free of charge. Newspaper and magazine reading services will remain powered by third-party services, namely Press Display and Zinio.
If you’ve built your library in Kobo, you can install their own application from Google Play and keep your existing books accessible across a number of different platforms and devices.
Finally, it’s worth adding that after Galaxy S III, we’re sure Sammy will also release the new version of Readers Hub for other devices like the Galaxy S II, Galaxy tablets and so on…
