It was some three months ago when we told you ESPN is looking to bring its ESPN Radio app to the growing army of Windows Phone users. It’s now available for download from the Marketplace, providing news fix to the on-the-go sports fans with smartphones running Microsoft’s mobile platform.
Feature wise, the free to download application comes with live internet broadcasts of over 35 ESPN Radio stations around the country while also including popular ESPN shows like Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, The Scott Van Pelt Show, The Michael Kay Show and others. Moreover, you can tune-in to SportsCenter and get updates every 20 minutes.
Want more? Go ahead and create your own custom stations, featuring only your favorite teams, topics, players, sports and/or shows. And once you’re done with that part, you can even download your playlist(s) for offline listening, to keep up with the latest from the world of sports even while flying (or when visiting other areas with no Internet connection). Cool. 😉
