Sony is about to launch three of its Android smartphones in the U.S. – Xperia Acro S, Xperia Tipo Dual and Xperia Advance. The first of the pack is the best device, boasting a 4.3-inch HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 12-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

The Xperia Tip Dual, on the other hand, is a low-end smartphone — it gets its power from a single-core 800MHz CPU — but it comes with one convenience – two SIM card slots, allowing its owners to use it with two different networks at once.

Finally, the Xperia Advance aka Xperia Go is a tough, IP67-certfied device made for folks leading an active lifestyle and would appreciate the extra ruggedness it packs. Specs wise, the Xperia Advance has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, HSPA and so on.

All three phones are listed on Sony’s website and are all coming soon. We’re not sure whether the Japanese company will find a carrier partner or will sell them unlocked, though.
