PayAnywhere — the company that competes with the likes of Square, PayPal and Intuit with its card-reading accessory — updated its iOS app, making it even better. Here’s what’s included in version 1.6:
- Performance Boost – there’s a reorganized menu and better detection of Star printers that make for an overall performance boost for the app.
- Revamped Heat Maps – that allow you to zoom in and out on regions and view individual or grouped transactions, providing merchants with the information where their sales are taking place.
- Merged Tip and Signature – so that customers can simply add a tip and sign on a single screen, allowing merchants to help the next customer faster.
- Hassle-free Refunds – new flexibility to issue refunds for specific items or to adjust the price on particular items from directly within the app.
PayAnywhere remains free to download and you can register for a free card reader accessory from within the app. Aside from iOS, the application is also available for Android and BlackBerry smartphones.
