Looks like the Optimus 2X isn’t the only controversial LG device, at least when it comes to Ice Cream Sandwich updates. The Optimus Black is in that group too and now we’re glad to say that we have an evidence suggesting that it will get its serving of Ice Cream Sandwich, as well.
The evidence comes in the form of retail boxes with “Android 4.0 ICS upgradable” stickers. There is no info where exactly you can find the pictured boxes, but they do look legit enough to talk about them. Plus, we’re sure Optimus Black users all around the world are looking to this sort of news with great interest.
The way I see, Optimus Black should be able to “handle” Android 4.0. Sure, it lacks a dual-core processor, but so does the Galaxy S… We’ll be watching this story carefully and let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
