At its second annual Trunk Conference, the best note-taking service (as far as I’m concerned) unveiled several new things, including its business offering, Moleskine partnership and Clearly updates.

First the business offering, which is made for small and medium-sized businesses. To solution, which will be available in December, comes with special Admin Console that lets IT people manage their company data and determine who has access to what. Advanced sharing also comes built-in, allowing employees to better collaborate using existing or new, employee-created notebooks, and each account will get its dedicated “Customer Success Manager” who is a phone call away at all times. Of course, simplified credit card or invoice-based billing comes as part of the deal, as well.

As for the Moleskin partnership, Evernote will offer the special limited edition Evernote Smart Notebook, designed specifically for the new Evernote iOS application (though we hope an Android app will get the same treatment too). The new notebook includes a number of special features like Special Pages and Smart Sticker that will help you take your ideas off the written page and place them into Evernote’s cloud.

Evernote Moleskine

The Smart Notebook comes in two page styles: ruled and squared, each sporting a special dotted paper pattern optimized for new “Page Camera” functionality found in the updated Evernote iOS app (version 4.4). Using this feature — available from camera inside of Evernote — you are able to quickly take photos of (scan) multiple pages at once. Keep moving from one page to the other and when you’re done, tap the checkmark and let Evernote do its magic, automatically improving the contrast and removing any shadows. Moreover, the mentioned dot pattern will be used to correct the skew of the photo, making them perfect for Evernote’s handwriting recognition.

But wait, there’s more. Multi-colored Smart Stickers come in the back pocket of each Moleskine notebook so that Evernote can recognize and instantly associate a tag with the note. Plus, let’s not forget the Skitch arrows which are used for drawing attention to important things on the page. Awesome!

The Evernote Smart Notebook by Moleskin will be available in two sizes, pocket ($24.95) and large ($29.95), beginning on October 1, and you can already pre-order yours from the Evernote Store.

Finally, Evernote Clearly got major updates, including highlighter and related notes…
