Google Search app got a small update though you will be able to get the benefits only if you’re phone or tablet is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. More precisely, Google Now has been changed to give you access to movie showtimes, public alerts (like storm warnings and earthquake alerts), and the ability to add your favorite sports teams from over 140 soccer, football, hockey and baseball teams to follow in real time. In addition, the support for Korea now comes included.

The new “movie times” feature is arguably the most useful part of the update, allowing you to search for a flick that’s in theaters so you can receive relevant information as well as when and where it’s playing in your area. Moreover, you can set it up to pop up on your “movie days” or when you just happen to be around a theater. Pretty cool.
