Windows Phone-powered Nokia PureView to have a 21-megapixel camera?

File this under rumors, but it seem Nokia will unveil a Windows Phone device with a 21-megapixel camera. We’ve already heard stories that the Finnish company is preparing to launch such product and video below goes in that direction.

Eagle-eyed Arnaud from MonWindowsPhone has an interesting theory which leads him to conclude that Nokia’s recent commercial suggests that a Nokia Lumia handset with 21-megapixel is coming soon. He noticed that the video is 21 seconds long, and that Phi is the 21st letter of the Greek alphabet. That, of course, is below Nokia 808 PureView’s 41-megapixel sensor, but we’re hoping that this “drop in megapixel count” will make for a slimmer device, one that is easy to carry in your pocket. Can’t wait to try out such phone which would definitely make Windows Phone a more interesting platform. 😉
