Plantronics prepared a pair of Bluetooth headsets for folks who *really* don’t like charging their gear all the time. The new M25 and M55 models come with the so called DeepSleep hibernation mode, which enables the handset to run for up to 5 months!
The DeepSleep technology activates when the headset is away from your phone for more than 90 minutes. When the phone and headset are back in range, you just tap the Call button to “wake” the headset up. It’s that easy.
Specs wise, these super-light accessories (with weight of just 8 grams) support Voice Alerts that whisper talk time, battery level, and more; A2DP, wideband and multipoint technologies; digital noise reduction; up to 11 hours of talk time and 16 hours of standby (in addition to 150 days in DeepSleep hibernation mode). Moreover, the M55 also includes one year of free access to Plantronics Vocalyst voice and text service and the ability to take or dismiss calls simply by saying “Answer” or “Ignore”.
Price wise, the Plantronics M25 costs $39.99, while the M55 could be yours for $49.99.
