LG Optimus G's camera to offer world's best image quality?

We all know the soon-to-be-launched LG Optimus G will be an awesome device, not least thanks to Qualcomm’s quad-core S4 Pro processor. Like that’s not enough, LG is marketing the phone’s camera with 13-megapixel sensor, promising to deliver “world’s best image quality.” To that end, the Korean company released a short clip on YouTube to demonstrate this claim.

Now we’re always glad to see handset makers pushing the boundaries of possible. I would assume that 13-megapixel sensor will soon emerge as standard feature for the next generation of high-end smartphones, with next year’s Samsung and HTC models both rocking such cameras. In the meantime, users looking for that capability can choose between Sony devices and the forthcoming Optimus G.

And now the mentioned video. Enjoy!
