Citizens of Hong Kong got another luxury handset option to choose from. The newly unveiled Aston Martin Aspire may wear logo of the famous car maker, but it’s a low-end smartphone under the hood. Specs wise, it has a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, 800MHz single-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing one, 3G and Wi-Fi radios, 256MB of RAM, while Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread is running the show. However, its main strength comes from the materials used – the phone is available in few versions, including black, white, silver, gold and rose gold, while the price starts at $1,290 and ends at $1,590 (for the last two versions which cases are dipped in 24K gold).

Of course, this kind of phone comes in a special packaging in which you also get additional goodies like a leather pouch, Aston Martin-branded headphones and two 1,500mAh batteries.

At the moment, the Aston Martin Aspire is available in Hong Kong and we’ve no idea whether it will ever reach the Western hemisphere. Not that we necessarily want it, though…
