Nokia Lumia 510 caught in the wild, again

The forthcoming Nokia Lumia 510 has been caught in the wild, again. This time, however, we know what it hides under the hood. As you would imagine, we’re talking about an entry-level Windows Phone which specs include a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 4GB of built-in storage and only 256MB of RAM. All said, we would be surprised if Nokia asks more than $150 for the unlocked unit and in that sense, this little fella’ seems destined towards the emerging markets of the world.

The way I see it, Nokia may have a winner with the Lumia 510. Sure, it won’t get much media love in the Western hemisphere, but it could be one of the best-selling Windows Phones in the East, eventually pushing the Finnish company back to the growth path while helping Microsoft earn few additional percentage points in the smartphone market share. We’ll see how that goes…
