A graphic from Geekologie shows the evolution of handset design from the early brick phones that weighed two pounds to the current crop of stylish black slabs.
The two most striking changes I see are touchscreens, which revolutionized how we interact with our phones, and internal antenna technology which let designers get rid of that ungainly antenna nub and bury it deep inside the phone.
