Sony Xperia X (Odin) is a dual-SIM version of the Xperia Z (Yuga)?

We’ve already told you about both the upcoming Sony Xperia X (Odin) and Xperia Z (Yuga). We’re now hearing that the former is actually a dual-SIM version of the Xperia Z. But, it’s not that simple with that second SIM card demanding few design changes. Apparently, the Xperia X will be thicker, heavier and ultimately uglier device. Moreover, it will also come with a different design on the back, featuring a “rough” texture with stripes reminiscent of those seen on the Xperia E Dual. In addition, the Xperia X may also have a camera below the screen as opposed to the usual position – above the screen.

On the other hand, the Xperia Z — which will be Sony’s 2013 flagship phone — will be look awesome. That said, we’re not sure which markets will get the Xperia X in the first place. If I would have to bet that model is heading to parts of Asia where such capability is in high-demand. In any case, we’ll get all details within 10 days or so. Stay tuned in the meantime…
