LG has managed to get green, Carbon Free certification for a number of its products, including the Optimus G, from the CarbonFund Foundation. The device was found to be environmentally friendly throughout the entire process, from procuring raw materials, production, distribution, use and disposal.
We praise LG for taking this route and can only hope other handset makers will follow suit. While we love our gadgets, we love our planet even more. And we advise all our readers to properly dispose their phones after they’re done using them. It’s a small effort that matters a lot…
