Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean update starts hitting users in Spain

Last time we wrote about Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S II, we said that it will be released at some point in February. Apparently not, with some users already getting the goodies. Those users are in Spain and they could already make their Galaxy S II smartphones run Android 4.1.2, presuming they connect the phone to a computer and fire-up Samsung’s infamous Kies software.

Again, this update brings a ton of changes, including a number of UI tweaks, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Pop-up Play, camera improvements, along with standard Jelly Bean features like Project Butter, Google Now, improved notifications and so on.

Hopefully, rest of Europe (and rest of the world for that matter) will follow shortly and soon enough all Galaxy S II units will run Jelly Bean…
