Looks like Samsung is preparing to launch its Music Hub service for other devices, which aren’t necessarily made by the Korean company. According to Sammy’s TJ Kang, SVP of Samsung Media Services, the service will not only be available for other non-Samsung devices, but will also be rolled out in other countries, helping the company cement its global position.

The move will make Media Hub compete with Apple’s iTunes, as well as similar services offered by Google, Amazon, Nokia and Microsoft.

Relying on technology provided by mSpot, Samsung’s service offers free and monthly subscription based plan that includes several handy features, including scan and match cloud locker, 7digital catalog access, custom radio and recommendations.

We’re looking forward to hear something new on this while attending Mobile World Congress in Barcelona – it’s a perfect venue for launching global services, or so we think.
