After the Xperia T, Sony has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia V, starting with select markets like Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Switzerland. That’s at least the initial list though as far as we (don’t) know, users in other countries could also be getting their goodies, as well.

The new software, version 9.1.A.0.490, brings standard Jelly Bean goodies like Project Butter enhancements, Google Now and improved push notifications. In addition, there are Sony’s own tweaks that update some of the existing apps while making sure the phone is snappier than ever. We don’t have the change log but if your Xperia V got the new software, make sure to let us know how it feels after the update…
