Wikipad announced that its 7-inch gaming tablet will be available this Spring for $249. Leading retailers will selling the device, which is far more powerful than Archos’ GamePad (hence it costs more).

Wikipad’s power comes from NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor that will make sure games run smoothly. Of course, there’s also a dual-analog stick controller to ensure “lightning-fast response times and the best gaming experience possible.”

Under the hood, Wikipad packs 16GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded with microSD cards along with other “standard for Android” goodies like Wi-Fi connectivity support, a number of sensors and so on. Best of all, Jelly Bean is running the show right from the get-go, providing users with great experience (thanks to Project Butter and other enhancements included in this release).

So what do you say? Are you willing to consider grabbing the Wikipad once it hits the streets? If so, hop over to the company’s website to get more information prior to “pushing the button.”
