We really liked the Motorola Droid RAZR M when it launched on Verizon a while back, and we’ve since seen the handset come in a couple of interesting colors that include the standard black and white, and pink. Now we have another addition to the family: Platinum.
While color isn’t everything when choosing a new phone, the new color option for the RAZR M is certainly eye-catching. The stark contrast of the platinum rear against the nearly edge-to-edge display makes the screen look larger to us, which is hardly a bad thing. Another interesting color tweak in the design is that the volume and power buttons are now blue.
A Best Buy exclusive at the moment, the platinum RAZR M will only run $50 on a new two-year contract. Only time will tell if Verizon Wireless will pick up the device in the future, but we do hope that the platinum edition of the RAZR M is here to stay, as it’s officially our favorite of the bunch.
