Beating up on the i-mate 810-F – Ruggedness redefined

I-mate’s brand-new 810-F “Hummer” smartphone really lives up to its nickname. Like the military-tough Humvee (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV)), the i-mate 810-F can take a beating and keep on… calling your friends. Seriously, this thing is one tough sucker.

I-mate really wanted to hammer home the 810-F Hummer’s military-spec ruggedness with a live demonstration that put the poor little smartphone through all sorts of torture testing. Through it all, the 810-F kept on playing video like a champ. No amount of smashing, dunking in water, or smearing with condiments could stop the Hummer from doing its thing – which is to say, keeping you connected in the most extreme conditions.

To be fair, we doubt anyone is going to cover their smartphone in ketchup or soda, but it’s good to know that the 810-F will survive just about anything. Hit the video below for all 810F-bashing fun!
