Sony Xperia Z already rooted (and it’s still not available in most places)

Talk about an active hacking community. The hot-new Sony Xperia Z has already been rooted even though it’s still not available in most parts of the world.

We have DooMLoRD, a recognized developer at XDA forums, to thank for this. He relied on the modified CF-Auto-Root app for Nexus 4 to make this happen, and everything apparently works like a charm (we haven’t tested it ourselves).

You can try it too if you’re one of the very few lucky Xperia Z owners. The detailed steps are available at XDA-Developers’ website… Be aware that this could void you warranty so you better be extra sure this is the path you want to take. You can’t hold us responsible if something goes wrong…
