The Verizon Galaxy Nexus is the forgotten stepchild of Google’s Nexus program. Unlike most Nexus models which get updates early and on a regular basis, the Verizon Nexus is four updates behind its GSM counterpart.
Though we have no idea what it will bring to the table, Verizon support did confirm via Twitter that an update is in the works and will arrive “soon.” Of course, “soon” is a very open-ended term that could mean next week or next month.
Droid-Life points out that Verizon has rolled out a bunch of updates recently so maybe the one for the Nexus will arrive sooner than later.
