Rumor: BlackBerry Z10 Landing at AT&T on March 15th?

According to N4BB, the BlackBerry Z10 will be making its stateside debut on AT&T on March 15th. We’ve already heard that the BlackBerry Z10 will be coming to T-Mobile and Verizon as well, but unfortunately haven’t heard word on when those carriers will be receiving the new flagship BlackBerry 10 phone. Sprint will be offering the BlackBerry Q10, but has chosen not to carry the Z10.

The Z10 was unveiled at a BlackBerry press conference in New York last January, and launched in European markets in late January, and early February in Canada. The BlackBerry Z10 launch comes amidst some troubling financial news for BlackBerry, as Blackberry use now accounts for around 6% of the smartphone market. Back in January 2010, BlackBerry accounted for 42.6 percent of the smartphone market.

The Z10 has received fanfare in the UK, a market that has been traditionally BlackBerry oriented. Peter Misek, a Jefferies analyst, commented on the UK Z10 release,“The U.S. is five times larger so continued strong sales could bode very well for Blackberry.” With some of the industry’s heavy hitters scheduled to release their flagship phones in the coming weeks, such as the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S IV, BlackBerry will certainly face some challenges with its U.S. release of the Z10.

Are you excited about trying out the new BlackBerry Z10, or will you pass? Let us know how you think BlackBerry will fare in the coming months.
