Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S II users across Europe. We don’t have the official schedule, but reports suggest users in multiple countries have started receiving the new firmware.

However, it’s not an over-the-air affair, and you’ll rather have to install Samsung Kies software in order to get all of the goodies like improved notifications, Project Butter enhancements and Google Now. Plus, there are some of Sammy’s own updates included all of which should deliver a better user experience.

As usual, we advise you to backup your key information prior to pushing the button. It should be a straightforward process but something could always go wrong.

Do let us know whether you got the update and how you like it. Comments form is all yours…
