Motorola unveiled a pair of RAZR smartphones for the ever-growing mobile market of Brazil. The RAZR D1 and D3 won’t satisfy high-end users’ appetites but will still provide a solid bang for the buck.
The lower-end model, D1, comes with a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 3.5-inch screen, 1785mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot. The D3 builds on top of that, adding a bigger 4-inch screen, faster 1.2GHz dual-core CPU and 2000mAh battery to the mix. Both phones run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of box and Motorola even promised “a guaranteed upgrade to the next Android version,” which will take for 4.2.
The single- and dual-SIM Motorola RAZR D1 will hit the stores later today with a price tag of R$549, which translates into some $280. As for the RAZR D3, it will launch in “several weeks” when interested users will be able to grab it for R$799 (around $408)…
