Samsung is pushing its flagship tablet to Korean professionals, namely medical students and practitioners with a new variant of the device called Galaxy Note 10.1 Medical Hub Edition. The hardware remains the same as with the original Galaxy Note 10.1, but there are some pre-loaded apps on board, including medical dictionaries, human anatomy information and more.

As you would imagine, the tablet will take advantage of the S Pen, which can be used to color the anatomy, thus making for a more interactive learning experience.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Medical Hub Edition will sell for 799,000 won which translates into roughly $719. Kinda steep, despite the fact that customers get a book cover or a Bluetooth keyboard as a gift.

No word whether something similar will also be offered in the West…
