Google’s Quickoffice app has made the leap from the iPad to iPhone and Android devices today, allowing users to quickly edit and modify Microsoft Office files on their mobile devices. The Quickoffice app, which debuted on the iPad last December, also allows users easy access to their word documents by syncing with Google Drive.
Quickoffice for iPad was released last December, which gave users the ability to view, edit and share Microsoft Office documents without having Office installed on their devices.
All of the different versions of Quickoffice allow users to create, edit and view documents on a variety of operating systems, such as iOS, Symbian and Android. Not only does Quickoffice allow users to access Microsoft Word files, it also allows users to create files compatible with Microsoft Office, such as documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
Quickoffice is available for paid Google Apps for Business subscribers at the App Store and the Google Play Store.
