Microsoft is bringing its Surface Pro and Surface RT tablets to some new markets soon, with its Surface RT tablets leading the way in the rollout. The rollout will begin in Malaysia, with Microsoft shipping units starting on April 25th followed by Mexico, Thailand and Korea by the end of May and into early June.

The Microsoft Surface Pro, which is currently only available in the U.S., Canada and China will make its way across the globe in May, launching in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. Before the end of June, the Surface Pro will be headed to Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore and Thailand.

After the release of Microsoft’s Surface tablets this summer, the Surface RT will be available in a total of 29 markets globally. Microsoft has had trouble in the past producing enough of its 128 GB versions to meet demand, but Microsoft has remedied that problem by promising that it will have plenty of its 128GB units in stock for the global rollout. For more details on retail availability specific to your region, pricing and launch events will be detailed at the Surface Blog, as well as on Twitter via @Surface.

Have you been waiting for the Microsoft Surface Pro or RT to come to your country? Will you grab one of them when they come out? We’d love to know.
