Looks like Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular will both get a new Kyocera phone in the near future. The Big Red carrier will soon add the Kyocera Elite, which looks like a “standard” all-touchscreen Android smartphone, most likely with LTE connectivity support. As for U.S. Cellular, its Kyocera XTRM is a rugged device that reminds on the Torque, another Kyocera’s tough smartphone.

Specs are not released for any of the two phones, and we’re also pretty clueless about the availability. However, since the press images are out, the chances are it won’t be long before we get the official press announcements from both Verizon and U.S. Cellular. We’ll get back to you when that happens… with all other details, naturally.
