Vine, the Twitter owned video sharing app, is coming to Android soon according to co-founder Dom Hofmann. The hugely popular video sharing app launched a few months back, becoming one of the most downloaded applications in Apple’s iTunes App Store. The app is a joy to use as it allows users to create short video clips at six seconds that can be shared with friends across different social networks. A simple but effective concept.

Many Android users have been once again left out in the cold, but with this confirmation from the company’s co-founder it should ease folks anxiety. Hofmann didn’t leave any specifics to when we could expect the long-awaited app to launch, though, he did say it’ll be coming “soon” to Android devices.
