Samsung unveils the Galaxy Core, mid-range Android smartphone landing in May

Samsung in known for its product strategy that floods the market with a variety of Android smartphones. After introducing the Galaxy Win, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Star, and Galaxy Pocket Neo in April, the Korean manufacturer is back with its first smartphone for May.Today, we get out first glimpse at the Galaxy Core, a mid-range phone that’ll land this month. The Core features the following specs:

  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 4.3-inch WVGA (480×800) display
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 64GB
  • 5-megapixel rear camera
  • WiFi b/g/n
  • Bluetooth® 3.0
  • 1800 mAh battery
  • Dual-SIM support

The Dual SIM version of the Galaxy Core will go on sale starting in May, while the single SIM version will land in July. Availability depends on the market.
