The newly announced HTC Desire 600 is already available for pre-order in Russia, where the device is selling at a premium. Several retailers are offering it for around 16,000 Rubles, which translates into some $500. Yeah, that’s super-steep since that money could easily get you a much better smartphone.
Then again, mobile devices are known to cost more in Russia than other parts of the world. Not sure why that’s the case, though.
Anyway, the Desire 600 is a mid-range smartphone with specs that include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.5-inch qHD screen, two SIM card slots, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel front-facing one and 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded with microSD memory cards.
Yeah, we suggest to wait for few more weeks to get this phone as the price must go down from here…
